Mission Statement
Mission
The Graduate Management Association (GMA) is a professional organization led by graduate students in the E. Philip Saunders College of Business (SCB). Open to all graduate students in the SCB, GMA provides a platform for graduate students to network with professionals in the local business community, RIT Administration, RIT Faculty, as well as other students. The GMA strives to educate members on the best practices of professional networking and works to strengthen the Saunders experience for graduate students.
What We Do
The GMA accomplishes this mission by sponsoring business seminars, career and professional development seminars, as well as a variety of social events throughout the Rochester community. Seminars include the annual Professional Speakers Series in collaboration with RIT faculty, alumni, and prominent executives in the local business community. Other events include quarterly, GMA sponsored, networking events, etc. The GMA is active in RIT community service activities as well as local community service activities. Such participation includes team leadership for the United Way campaign Day of Caring. In addition, the GMA supports RIT Orientation activities and works as a liaison between the student body and the SCB’s administration in an effort to strengthen program development in the SCB.
